Once your return or exchange request is authorised, we will email you simple step-by-step instructions and a shipping label if needed.

Return Requests

We accept worldwide returns. You must request a return within 14 days of receiving the item(s) via 

After 14 days return requests are not possible and will not be accepted.

What items are non-returnable?

We accept return requests for items that are made in our standard sizes. 

We are unable to accept any returns on gift cards, face masks, inner-wear (for hygiene purposes) as well as any customised or bespoke items (any sizes or customisations that are made to order especially for you). These items are not eligible for return or credit. 

Orders placed during sale periods or gifting promotions i.e. where a free product was received on qualifying cart totals are not eligible for return. 

We cannot process a return or exchange request for products purchased through a retail partner. Only purchases made through are applicable for returns, exchanges and store credit. 

How to return your item

Once you request a return via email and your return request is accepted, we will send you a Returns Form/Label with our return address. 

You must ship the item within 14 days of requesting the return to the return address. Please ensure all items are unused, in their original packaging (as best as possible) and condition including tags and slips. Make sure to include the returns form in the package. 

Please do not ship the item before we process your returns request via email and send you a return address.

Ensure that you clearly outline the parcel as being a return parcel on any custom department forms. 

The customer is responsible for bearing the cost + risk of returning the item i.e. courier charges as well as any duties or international taxes.

All items will be inspected once we receive them and any damaged, worn, washed, torn or altered items will not be accepted. Also, items without a correctly filled returns form will not be accepted. In such a case, we will have to send the item back to you at your expense.

Please note, we are unable to take any responsibility, assume risk and/or issue returns on items that get lost during transit. It is your responsibility to have a tracking number or other proof of courier/postage. We are not liable for custom duties or fees on returns or exchanges. 


After we receive the item, we will issue a refund for the original item cost to the original payment method within 5 business days. The funds might take slightly longer to be processed and show up in your account due to bank processes. 

Please note: International shipping charges, customs fees, and taxes are not eligible for refund. 


If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item (email us to request an exchange) and once your exchange request has been processed, order a new item. 

Everything at the atelier is made to order, in very small batches so if you have your heart set on a particular design or colour we suggest you place your new order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We are unable to reserve or hold items for you.

We are very meticulous and attentive with each order we receive, bespoke or otherwise and seek to curate the most delightful experiences. In the rarest of the rare instance of your item being incorrect, damaged, faulty in terms of sizing or otherwise please reach out to us at as soon as possible (and within 14 days of receiving the item).

Please include photographs of the item(s) and reason for requesting an exchange. We will assess the reasons for the requested exchange and if we agree that the original item is incorrect or damaged, we will authorise your exchange request and ask you to return the original item.

All items will be inspected once we receive them and any damaged, worn, washed, torn or altered items will not be accepted. Also, items without a correctly filled exchange form will not be accepted. In such a case, we will have to send the item back to you at your expense.

Based on our inventory at the time, you will then be offered a replacement item of the same or higher value (upon which you will be requested to pay the price difference).

If you have just placed an order and need to amend something such as sizing information please reach out to us immediately at so we can assist. We might not be able to make any changes or amendments after 24 hours of order confirmation as we would have already begun working on your order. 

Covid-19 Policy  

In case any person within our team contracts Covid or if there is a government lockdown or other imposed restrictions then we will have to pause operations at the atelier. In case there are any pending orders at the time, we will fulfil and ship them once we resume operations and will keep you updated on all developments.
