We use a beautiful, environmentally-friendly elastic which is made of ethically sourced, certified organic cotton and natural rubber. 

The rubber is sourced from a plantation where child labour is prohibited, with additional strict policies in place, ensuring fair wages for workers.

Elastics are usually made of polyester which means they are not biodegradable at the end of their life cycle. Our organic bio-elastic is vegan, recyclable, biodegradable and has shown to have better performance, durability and a longer lifespan as compared to traditional, polyester-based elastic. Our bio-elastic is GOTS certified organic, free from plastic + polyester and we're proud to use it as part of our circular design strategy.
